Dita | About Us My first memories of a dobe in my life was our neighbour’s dobe “Princess”. Princess tolerated all of us local kids climbing on her, dressing her up, all the things little kids do. She was a true ambassador for the breed. Through my teens as I was riding competitively, a dobe was always nearby. My first two personal Dobermans were from backyard breeders and the associated health problems, untimely deaths and our grave disappointment in losing our close family friends, we began investigating the breed to better understand what was going on and if there was clearly a better Dobermann. We did lots of research, and we are still researching and learning. We have come across lots of great people and one or two not so great people. We have learned the hard way and hope to share our information so that you can avoid our costly mistakes. Both my husband and I work in the court system, and I am fortunate enough to have a flexible schedule that involves lots of work at home . Our dogs reside with us in our home and puppies are whelped in my office. Our litters are planned ahead, with the hopes of improving and building on our line and name. Dobermanns are a working dog, they have many talents. We believe a balanced dog has titles at both ends, and so we also participate in obedience, temperament tests and other venues, as well as conformation. We abide by the Code of Ethics of our National Club, the DPCC. We are proud members of the CKC, the DPCC, and the GMDF. We look forward to helping you find your future family companion.
