Occasionally we have older puppies or young adults that are looking for a home. We often keep a puppy or two (or three!) back to run along and see if this is a puppy we may like to show or breed in the future. A puppy that is 9 or 10 or 12 months old that we don't feel is going to work in our future breeding program will make a great companion to a family. This puppy will have usually finished ear taping and will be well socialized and housebroken. These older puppies are usually the best of the litter, not the worst because it is "last"....
We may also have at times dogs whose situations in their current homes make it necessary to be rehomed through no fault of their own. Often a dog like this is well trained and socialized and just needs a new home to love him or her. Please consider also a rescue dog if you are looking. We would be more than happy to put you in touch with the local Ontario Doberman rescue to help you find your perfect family companion.
